This is one of my more challenging commissions, from a woman who rescued Great Pyrenees and St. Bernard dogs. She had taken eight of the dogs to a professional photographer, who insisted on placing them on a white backdrop and flooring. The photo she got showed that the backdrop wasn’t wide enough to cover up the clutter in the studio. With information from her on the colors in her house, I changed the colors of the background and chair, invented a “Persian” rug, and added the ninth dog on the back right. She was delighted and has been a loyal customer ever since.
